Aunt Melissa and Uncle Brian

Louise's Aunt Melly and Uncle Brian came to visit this weekend from Michigan. Louise was ga-ga over both of them. Every night they were here Louise went to bed totally exhausted from playing and showing off all day. I probably shouldn't mention this, but she was so busy with her aunt and uncle all weekend long that she didn't even take time to poop until after they were gone!

Thanks Melissa and Brian for making the trip. We hope you arrived home safely and quickly and without any weather or traffic related excitement. Unfortunaely, I spaced out and didn't take many pictures while they were here, but I did catch this moment between Louise and Brian.



On Saturday we all went over to the Garden family's house for a cookout celebration. Larkin is turning 4 soon and Sean just got his US citizenship. It was also Flag Day, so we decided to bring Sean some classy (ha ha) flag bandanas to wear during the cookout. Here's a shot of Louise modeling one of the bandanas beforehand. Sean, by the way, was a real sport and wore both bandanas during the whole party.

Lastly, here's a shot of Louise in her blanket cocoon. She's been sleeping with blankets for a while now, but she's just decided that she loves being tucked in. Here she's tucked in like a butterfly ready to emerge from her cocoon. The blanket, by the way, is handmade by Ellen, my mom's cousin.
