This morning Louise and I headed to Hickory to meet up with Grammy at the SALT Block. My good pal Heather and her daughter Nora met us there. We checked out the Aquarium at the Catawba Science Center, and really enjoyed an exhibit for youngsters called Little Builders. This was a hands on exhibit where the kids got to dress up as builders and use cool tools to construct, lift, haul, and paint just like real builders. Afterwards we ate at a yummy place called Cafe Gouda.
It was so fun and a great treat to be able to see Grammy, Heather, and Nora. Unfortunately, though, Louise is still so pumped, she has missed her nap. That spells trouble for this afternoon and evening. Yikes!

That restaurant looks really good, but what did you and Weezie eat that was gluten-free?
Aquariums are always fun, as well as hands-on exhibits! I am not surprised that Louise was not ready to nap :)
