Our friends, the Lovoys, just had a baby 2 days ago. She's gorgeous and her name is Alessia.
It's Italian and it's pronounced Ah-lay-see-uh.
Anyway, I'm telling you this because Louise and Mike went to visit them yesterday in the hospital and they let Louise hold the baby!
Mike sat next to Louise and held Alessis's head in his lap. Mike says that Louise sat very still and was mesmerized by the little being in her lap.
She was awestruck and for once was very cautious and gentle.
I hope to get photos from the Lovoys very soon (I know they're busy enough already) and if any turn out, I'll post them here.
