L's class went on a field trip last week to the farm down the road.In the sheep barn, an educator from the college demonstrated the use of a harness. We also learned that they keep a donkey to protect the sheep from coyotes.
There were many calves to see. Lots of piglets, too.
Louise and a friend checked out some of the farm equipment kept near the pigs and chickens. I think this green one is called a cultivator.
