Louise finally grew enough hair to warrant a haircut!! On Saturday, we took her to the Blue Ribbon Barber Shop in West Asheville. It's a hip little joint that serves free PBR while you wait! It actually turned out to be a great place to take her, with the indoor vintage barber shop sign with flashing lights and the James Brown blaring on the stereo. Here is Louise, proudly sitting in the barber chair all by herself. She was thrilled to wear the little penguin smock. You could feel the pride just beaming right off of her. The haircut was only $5, and while it's probably not the best kids haircut ever, the baby mullet is gone and it looks a lot better than what I would have done. Thanks Blue Ribbon!
