It’s been a busy and fun summer. July was a big month for Louise. She got teeth, started crawling, said her first words, and ate her first bites of finger food. Needless to say, we’re just trying to keep up with her.
And, she finally started growing some hair! It’s just a little bit longer than peach fuzz now and it is golden in color.
We’ve had many visitors this summer including the Millards, the Mehlens, and the Demorys. We’ve also been to Winston-Salem several times to visit with family. And we’ve gone to Papa and Grand-mommy’s in Low Gap, too.
She loves the water- she’s been spending a lot of time in the baby pool we got for the yard, and she really digs the Water Babies class at the YMCA.
Louise is really social and she loves other babies. She is actually a little over-zealous, though, and sort of attacks other people her size.
That can also be said of how she interacts with our cats. She’s so crazy about them she can’t stand it. And if given the chance, she’ll just crawl right up on top of the cats and try to eat them. Or maybe she’s just giving them a kiss. Anyway, enjoy the pix. We’ll post again soon.
