Eggscellent

Dabby-dog sniffs the dye as Louise pours it over the eggs. It smells a bit like cabbage and vinegar. Hmmm...

We made our own dye this year. This pretty pink dye is made from purple cabbage. The dye is pink but it colors the eggs a beautiful blue. We also used onion skins (for orange), turmeric (for yellow), and blueberries (for purple). It was a lot of fun and the eggs turned out lovely, too.

This one was Louise's favorite. She ate it for lunch.
