Here's the view every morning (this morning was dreary looking outside) on the way to drop off Louise at play school. After that I have a short hop on and off of I-40 and then it's about 10 minutes on the Blue Ridge Parkway. On my way to work I've seen wild turkeys, ducks, piliated woodpeckers, and bunnies. It's really a nice little commute. But here's a downer, on the way home yesterday I saw a local drunk bite it hard on the pavement (so bad I got out the phone and dialed 911) after making a bad left turn on her scooter. Gotta take the good with the bad, I guess.
